It is already 9AM when I leave the Campground. At the bridge over cow creek only 12 miles later there is beer, soda, tequila. Tom has made a campsite. I decide to stay: my foot still hurts.

Read all your blogs (really, all) and enjoyed every one. Hoping for more little details but I understand the lack of! Piffin tells me it’s [one of?] the best decisions you’ve ever made, to do this trail.
My trail name is Magellan. It comes from carrying a gigantic gps and two redundant compasses and maps. When we started, I always seemed to know exactly where we were. Now, I’m much more relaxed about when I’ll be where. “We’ll get there when we get there” as Gut Feeling, who gave me the name, used to say.
