Start: Mile 906.7 (Reds Meadow) [California Section H - Page 22]
End: Mile 922.4 (Thousand Island Lake)
Back on the trail. The first part is not too exciting. Lots of fallen trees, and no view. After I gain some elevation, later in the afternoon I suddenly get a beautiful panorama of Shadow Lake in the Ansel Adams Wilderness. I stay for a bit longer and cook a meal. I’m a little behind schedule because I left Mammoth today, and did no hiking yesterday.
